This video was made for an excellent challenge round over at Dreams & Memories Awards. It was run by the site's award designer Caprica. I hope she does more of thesebecuase I have ot hionestly say this was the most challenging of any challenge rounds I've ever participated in. You had to send Caprica an email listing your top 10 fandoms and top 10 music artists and she'd email you back with an assignment. My jaw kinda hit the floor when I got mine LOL I was completely thrown! My assignment was: to combine FlashForward, True Blood and The Mentalist into one video set to the song 'Life Without You' by Daughtry. After several days of pondering, this is what I came up with:

I took five couples. Two from FlashForward: Mark & Olivia and Demetri & Zoey, two from True Blood: Bill & Sookie and Sam & Tara, and one from The Mentalist: Wayne & Grace. I threw in some AU elements and told a story about each couple. The video is from the point of view of ONE member of each couple. The beginning introduces each individual, then I follow the lyrics (I'm a big lyrics person) to hopefully tell an understandable story. My video is grammatically correct (nod to FelicityKing who first coined that phrase). Meaning when the word "I" appears in the lyric I aim to show you the person whose POV it is - they are speaking of themself when they say 'I'. When the lyric says 'you' it's them talking about their signiciant other and my scene reflects that. I try to always make my vids grammatically correct - I'm a bit anal that way LOL

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video and a HUGE thanks to Caprica for challenging me more than anyone else has in a very long time. No matter what the outcome of the challenge round - I enjoyed creating this and being challenged. I hope Carprica does more challenge rounds!
