Bill is with Eric who is a mean, selfish, inattentive lover. Bill's friend Malcolm tries to help him break away from Eric, he even goes as far as calling Bill's former lover Mick and getting him to come back to Bon Temps. Malcolm knows Mick still loves Bill. Bill is torn - deep down he knows what Malcolm is telling him is true and that Eric doesn't love him. Malcolm secretly arranges for Mick to show up at Merlotte's.  Malcolm  points to Mick as he walks in and pretty much tells Bill:"Here's the man who loves you! Why not go back to him?" Pam sees this and tells Eric but Malcolm stands guard while Bill and Mick talk at Merlottes, he isn't going to let Eric or Pam interfere. Later, Eric chastises Bill for seeing Mick, Bill argues back a bit then leaves. Eric wants revenge so the next night he summons Bill from his resting place which puts Bill in distress. Once the sun sets, Bill rushes to see Eric, hopeful that Eric will take him in his arms, but he finds Fangtasia is closed! The door is locked and Eric won't answer. Bill is hurt and goes to Malcolm. Malcolm is appalled at Eric's behavior. When Eric figures he's punished Bill enough, he summons him again. Eric takes him to the back office at Fangtasia and puts on his best act, he even gets Bill a drink (usually Bill is the one serving Eric). Bill goes back to Malcolm to let him know Eric's changed and he's happy that it looks like things will work out between him and Eric. Malcolm tells Bill to give it (Eric) up now - he knows Eric is playing games and Bill is falling for it. Bill doesn't believe Malcolm, he defends Eric and and leaves. Diane can't believe Bill is being so stupid and Malcolm is totally frustrated by it. Soon enough Bill sees that Malcolm was right and Eric is just pretending. When Bill is trying to talk to Eric about how he feels Eric gives his normal cold, nonchalant attitude. Bill goes to Mick and talks it all out with him telling him what Malcolm says about Eric. Mick agrees with Malcolm and Bill leaves but this time he stops his car, instead of turning it around to go back to Fangtasia! Has he finally come to his senses? Eric shows up at Merlottes looking for Mick and Mick is there with Malcolm, Diane & Liam. What will happen?
