From Beth's POV. Mick's a cad in this one. He broke Beth's heart - can Josef fix it? When Beth catches Mick with another woman she doesn't think she can ever let another man in. Then she meets Josef and feels an instant connection to him. Beth & Josef begin to get close. Beth is smitten with Josef but he's somewhat hesitant because he's Mick's friend. Soon he can't ignore his feelings for her. Mick shows up, he's come over to try to win Beth back and to give a CD of their favorite love songs (tee hee) but Josef's there and tells him that he and Beth are becoming close. Mick doesn't like it. He takes the CD back and leaves. Later Mick corners Beth outside when Josef isn't around and tries to get her to come back to him but she's not having any of that! She goes to Josef and tells him that if he asked her to she just might change her mind and let him in her life forever. She swears she'd do ANYTHING for him, that she'd give him her world. When Josef needs to feed she proves it by offering herself to him. He doesn't want to do it but she insists and he hesitantly accepts hoping he won't lose control and accidentally harm or kill her. Once he has fed it creates an even stronger bond between them. Josef and Beth realize they are in love. Beth knows Josef will always put her first and never hurt her the way Mick did.
