Another part to the Love You More series where Mick chose Beth over Josef. The story: Miick thinks of Josef often, in fact he's looking at a picture of Josef on his computer at the very moment a renegade bursts in and tries to kill Josef. Mick gets a call, rushes to the explosion site then watches helplessly as the building burns. Mick is devastated, he thinks Josef's dead. But we see that Josef is alive! He fled to a private vampire hospital in NY (LOL). Josef thinks Mick doesn't love him anymore so he didn't run to Mick. Mick can't stop thinking about Josef all the time and even starts having visions of Josef. Josef remains in NY healing and feeling sad as he "dreams of friends he's had before". The hospital heals him with fresh blood given by willing humans and that makes him stronger. On the outside Josef appears healthy but serious internal injuries require him to be hooked up to monitors at certain times. Back in LA Mick starts to "feel" Josef. While exercising he has another vision - he sees the fire again. Mick rushes to the site and of course there's no fire - just the destroyed building - but he feels compelled to go inside the ruins of Josef's building and finds clues that make him think Josef is alive. He senses him, can smell him there and even thinks he sees Josef's hand reaching out for him. Mick reaches back to the hand. At the moment he touches the hand Josef's monitors in NY go crazy. The hospital staff rush in to save him but Josef is gone! Mick takes Beth and goes to Josef - he now senses where Josef is. The killer has also found Josef and intends to finish the job. He shoots Josef then stakes him. Mick gets there just in time! Josef is surprised & happy to see Mick again. Mick removes the bullets from Josef and gives him fresh blood from a young, comatose human woman. Josef & Mick reconnect and Josef's heart heals. Mick expresses surprise that Josef didn't come to him - he will always be there for Josef. Beth enters, she agrees with Mick and even tells Josef "He really loves you". Mick leaves with Beth but can't get into the cab. He decides he wants to be with Josef. Beth knows she has lost Mick as the cab pulls away.
