From Mick's POV. For the sake of this video pretend that Mick is still a young vampire and because of that he still has some human qualities - like the ability to drink human refreshments and enjoy them.

Mick spends the video wanting Josef to break things off..trying to find reasons for Josef to break things off...telling him to let him go. He's prone to angry outbursts but Josef is very calm. He knows Mick is filled with anger, is scared of falling in love again and that he's still adjusting to being a vampire. There are things that Mick still has to learn, both relationship things (like how to trust again) and vampire things (such as feeding from humans). Mick doesn't want to learn the relationship things - he is so filled with the fear of being hurt again.

Josef loves Mick, he's very patient with him. He doesn't want to rush things either physical things or saying the "love" word. He wants Mick to learn how to function on his own as a vampire so he often leaves for a day or two. Even though there is a lot of heat between them, Josef says "No" when it comes to taking it to the next level. Mick can't handle that, in an angry outburst after being denied physical contact - he tells Josef to "Just let me go!". Josef sees how much his putting it off hurts Mick and realizes Mick needs the physical intimacy so the next time Mick wants him and heads to the stairs looking for Josef to follow...Josef subtly nods a "yes" and they take the next step. But Josef doesn't spend the whole night at Mick's, when they are done he sneaks out and Mick is left alone in his freezer. Mick, being insecure, interprets Josef's actions as Josef not loving or wanting him. He goes to Josef's apartment to confront him. Josef decides to try to ease Mick's mind and lets Mick spend the whole night - even providing him with juice and coffee in the morning to show he is sensitive to Mick's "human side". When Mick discovers the juice he smiles and feels happy. However, his happiness is short lived, the next time they finish a night of intimacy, Mick's insecurities get the better of him. In a moment of panic he decides he isn't willing to try and walks away. Josef goes to him and Mick tells Josef "I'm so cold...inside...." Can the ever patient and understanding Josef convince Mick to give it one more try? Watch and see. This video is loosely based on a wonderful fan fiction I read where Coraline turned a fledgling vampire Mick over to Josef making Josef his teacher which then progressed to them being lovers/friends.
