This video is dedicated to Kaytee4ever. It's based on an upcoming fan fiction - totally AU. The video is all from Jane's POV. Very angsty.
The story is that Cho's first love returns. Cho and Demetri met when Cho was 14 or 15 years old. Demetri was 17 or 18. Cho and Dem ended up in a gang together and eventually Cho was sent to juvie and Dem to prison (he was an adult by that time but Cho was still a minor). That was the last time they saw each other. Cho reformed and once out of juvie he never found out what happened to Demetri - he suspected Dem became a life long criminal and was most likely still in prison. He didn't want check up to have his suspicions confirmed. But Demetri also reformed and also became a federal agent - working for the FBI. He did check up on Cho and knew Cho was also an agent but for the CBI. Not wanting to upset Cho's life Dem stayed away. BUT when Demetri is assigned to assist the CBI with a case he knows he will have to see Cho. The video opens with Demetri (now Agent Noh) coming down the steps and Cho seeing him for the first time is all these years.
Cho is with Partick now but seeing Demetri again brings back all the old feelings. You never forget your first love after all. Jane picks up on this immediately. Cho and Demetri begin talking and reconnecting. Demetri loves Cho - he's not there to cause trouble for Cho but he can't deny he loves Cho. The next part of the video can be taken two different ways - that's the viewer's choice. I show Cho going to a bar where he knows Demetri is - Demetri looks longingly at him and Cho gets up...next thing you see is them in bed. You can interpret that as Jane thinks he knows where Cho is going (follow the lyrics - remember they are form Jane's POV) and Jane is imaging this scene OR you can interpret it as Cho really does seek out Demetri and they sleep together.
Cho tells Jane he needs some space, needs to get his head together and figure things out as far as Demetri goes. They say goodbye but there's no fight. Jane doesn't use harsh words, he knows harsh words won't hold Cho to him. He'd rather say goodbye to Cho then make him change his mind. Jane's wise enough to know that to guilt Cho in to staying with him will only end badly. He knows this has to be a decision Cho comes to on his own and if he comes back to Jane it will be because that was his own choice and because Cho wants to be with him. Cho and Dem continue to speak but Dem senses Cho's pain and feels bad - he never meant for Cho to be hurt by his presence there. (by the way- Demetri is not the bad guy here - nobody is the bad guy here). Cho is conflicted as Jane stands back, giving Cho the time he needs. Demetri and Jane both are hurting. There is no clear decision at the end. Part two coming :)
